![]() I realize there are workarounds to all of these issues, and that most of Microsoft's very intrusive privacy defaults can be disabled. So when I'd wake my XPS 13 from sleep only to find the WiFi driver had stopped working and couldn't discover any networks, I told myself "simply rebooting is easier than dealing with Linux." When I was interrupted by constant nags, reboots and Windows Updates I consoled myself with thoughts like "just accept it, you're comfortable with this and it's just the way things are." When I needed to install or reset Windows 10 only to be met with a seemingly endless parade of setup screens, I reassured myself that this was easier than managing the headaches Linux would introduce.
